چکیده

Background. The grain coat plays a major role in the development of rye cultivars with low levels water-soluble pentosans (WSP). Grain thinness is diagnostic trait for WSP (arabinoxylans) content. To improve technology low-pentosan breeding, it becomes important to study effect changes anatomy grains on morphological characteristics. Materials and methods. Grains thin coats (transparent) were identified LFS-1 diaphanoscope populations 7 commercial winter grown Russian Federation. Anatomical features seed studied thick- thin-coated ‘Era’ ‘Vyatka’. thickness aleurone layer assessed according L. N. Lyubarsky. Results conclusions. In grains, we found reduction pericarp by 50–70% 32.1–39.6%, compared thick-coated grains. With constant cell size “transparent” decrease occurs at expense not only walls, but also intercellular space. tissues second multicellular contains bulk protective biologically passive WSP. It was proved that there no significant parameters, such as length, width relative volume, depending thinness. Significant differences 1000 weight. index increased 5.2–19.7%, “nontransparent” ones.

Relating satellite imagery with grain protein content

Satellite images, captured during the growing seasons of barley, sorghum and wheat were analysed to establish a relationship between the spectral response and the harvested grain protein content. This study was conducted near Jimbour (approx. 151°10’E and 27°05’S) in southern Queensland. Grain protein contents of the geo-referenced samples, collected manually during the harvest, were determined...

Morphological Features of Autism

Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) represent complex neurodevelopmental disorders characterized by impairments in reciprocal social interactions, abnormal development and use of language, and monotonously repetitive behaviors. With an estimated heritability of more than 90%, it is the most strongly genetically influenced psychiatric disorder of the young age. In spite of the complexity of this dis...

Acinic Cell Carcinoma of the Parotid Gland with Four Morphological Features

Acinic cell carcinoma arising in salivary glands is a rare tumor, accounting for 2% to 5% of the primary neoplasms of the parotid gland. When these tumors are well-differentiated, the neoplasia has innocuous aspect, due to the similarity to normal parotid tissue. This makes the diagnosis difficult. Initially the malignancy of this tumor was uncertain; however, recent studies have declared it as...

Morphological Features of Cell Death Through Microscopic View

Cells are active components in their environment and constantly adjusting their performance to improve extracellular milieu changing. This approach is reflected their tends of maintaining intracellular homeostasis. When the cells encounter stress or pathologic stimuli, they can undergo a new manner (adaptation) and new steady state for achieving viability and function. If the external stress is...

Lithuanian Dependency Parsing with Rich Morphological Features

We present the first statistical dependency parsing results for Lithuanian, a morphologically rich language in the Baltic branch of the Indo-European family. Using a greedy transition-based parser, we obtain a labeled attachment score of 74.7 with gold morphology and 68.1 with predicted morphology (77.8 and 72.8 unlabeled). We investigate the usefulness of different features and find that rich ...
